TRAINEE SYMPOSIUM ISSP Meeting 2013
TRAINEE POSTERS AND PLATFORM PRESENTATIONS
Platform Presentations- Head and Neck Pathology and Haematologiccal/ Lymphoid -Case reports/ reviews
Poster Presentations- Audits – All topics in pathology (not confined to head and neck or Haem/ Lymphoid pathology)
Submission for Trainee symposium will be by Abstract submission- closing date for which will be Friday 27th September 2013. Late submissions cannot be accepted.
Abstracts to detail- title of presentation, authors (presenting author underlined), department and summary of presentation for platform/ poster presentation . Abstract maximum 200 words

Receipt of abstract will be acknowledged by a receipt email. Submitting trainee will be notified of acceptance of the submission for the conference by Tuesday 1st October. The programme for the platform symposium as well as a list of all posters accepted will be available on the website prior to the meeting.
An award will be made each for the best poster and platform presentation. The award will be announced at the conference Gala dinner on Friday 11thOctober .
Lead presented for all posters needs to attend the conference to stand by their posters for poster discussion. Posters will be on display for both days of the conference. Adequate poster display boards will be available (unallocated space so on a first come first served basis) and trainees are encouraged to have their poster in place on the morning of Friday 11th October prior to commencement of the meeting. Poster discussion occurs during all refreshment breaks and for a short period at the end of lunchtime Friday.
The trainee platform presentation symposium is on Friday 11th October (see programme).
A trainee submitting for the Trainee Symposium (poster and platform), and to be eligible for consideration for the trainee award, must be in a recognised training programme.
Tine allocated for the platform presentations- 10 minutes (to include discussion)
Poster maximum size – 1 metre x 1 metre
